Terms of use
Draft. This is a provisional text, not yet reviewed by a lawyer, and not the final version. Version 2026-10-25-rascunho-7. This is a translation for your convenience: the text in Portuguese (Brazil) is the one that prevails.
1. What Lano is
Lano is a personal finance app. It reads your purchases through Open Finance, works out how much to save according to the rules you choose and, once a week, suggests an amount with a Pix copy-and-paste code ready for an account of your own.
2. Lano does not move money
Lano does not receive, hold or transfer funds. You always make the Pix yourself, in your bank's app, to an account in your own name. The weekly suggestion is only a suggestion: you decide whether and how much to save.
3. Your account
Lano is only for people aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you declare that you are 18 or older. An account that belongs to someone under 18 may be deleted.
To use Lano you must give true information, including your CPF. You sign in through a link sent to your e-mail, with no password: keep access to that e-mail to yourself. The account is personal and cannot be used by companies.
4. Connecting your bank
Transactions are read through Open Finance, with your consent, given in your bank's environment. You can revoke that consent at any time, in Lano or at the bank. The data arrives a few hours late and may contain errors from the source institution.
5. What Lano is not
Lano is not a bank, a payment institution or an investment advisor, and the suggested amounts are not financial advice.
6. Closing your account
You can delete your account whenever you want. When you do, the consents are revoked and your data is erased, as described in the Privacy policy.
7. Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the new version will be published on this page and you will be told before it takes effect.
